This is where I'll announce current business activities and the most

Screening my equipment - DXpedition not survived: Icom IC-736 (both encoders for Maindial and RIT),
Butternut HF6V (condensator for the 30m-extension), BCC-preselektor (antenna switch),
ANC-4 (phase adjustment broken), SWR-Meter Daiwa CN520 (bent indicators in the display) -
7 years without propper usage didn't do the equipment any good :-(
At least my notebook is alive again after crashing seriously on Norfolk Island...

Back in Bandung - after three weeks 'down under' as VK9DNX. Wow, that trip was really something!
Excellent accomodation, our own cars, dream beach with even better weather, the pub centrally located just opposite the airport...
In addition a top-notch radio location, just on top of the cliff, 100m above the Tasman Sea, with endless space to build antennas.
Finally everything topped by the excellent team - what else can you ask for? That surely wasn't the last time I've been there!

Here we go - starting my first DXpedition since Morocco 2000.
I'll fly 'down under' - via Sydney and Brisbane to Norfolk Island.

Workshop of the DARC Committee DX and HF-Contesting in Brandenburg/Havel on Contest-Evaluation-Software.
Just coming back from Teheran it's nice to sit together with all core members of the DARC HF contest teams again.
The workshop was very interesting - yet it left me with a lot of homework to do on my own logprocessor tool 'PowerConv'.

Yepp, for a long time there haven't been any hamradio news.
For 26 month I've been on a business assignment in Teheran, EP.
Unfortunately there wasn't any opportunity to get privately licensed and on the air.
The limited possibilities provided at the clubstation EP3PTT I wasn't going to use (very expensive).
Thus, my whole hamradio activity during the last two years consisted of
some visits in Germany (Hamradio fair and DF0SAX club) and my duty as a member of
the Worked All Europe DX Contest Committee.
